 Our Surgical Face Mask Type IIR are normally used for infection control in hospitals, clinics, general practice surgeries, dental surgeries, and other healthcare institutions. Their key medical purposes are to prevent medical professionals from contaminating their patients by directly breathing or coughing on them from a close proximity. Equally, the masks prevent potential contamination of medical professionals by patients’ body fluids droplets (i.e. droplets of saliva, sneezes, droplets of blood, etc.)  that could be easily inhaled or splash on clinicians’ faces. This means that the Surgical Face Mask Type IIR provide 2-way protection – they help to protect both the wearers and the people around them.
Face Mask, Type IIR, has been manufactured with a 3-ply construction and has been tested to bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 99% to help reduce the risk of spread of infections.  Manufactured to highest standards, the Face Mask Type IIR is splash resistant to protect the patients and the healthcare workers from contamination and infectious diseases. The General Purpose masks implement the GB / T 32610 standard, which is a national standard for civil protective masks. It is used to filter the air entering the nose and mouth to prevent harmful gases, odors and water droplets from entering and flowing out of the wearer’s mouth and nose. It is mainly divided into cotton masks, non-woven fabric masks, polymer material masks, activated carbon powder filter masks, activated carbon fiber felt masks. Masks that meet civil standards do not belong to the medical category, This means that the Face Masks provide 2-way protection – they help to protect both the wearers and the people around them.

 

The General Purpose Face mask complies with GB/T 32610-2016 standards and is CE certified. Not intended for use by a healthcare professional or in a healthcare facility or environment.
